What our boiler service includes
Every service covers visual inspection, burner and heat‑exchanger cleaning, condensate and pressure checks, safety valve and flue integrity tests, plus a combustion (flue gas) analysis to verify efficiency and safe emissions. We note test readings, check the expansion vessel and controls, and replace small consumables such as rubber seals or filters if required.
What a service doesn't cover
A service is a check, clean and safety test of your boiler. It doesn't include replacement parts (other than small seals and filters), repairs to faults the service finds, a power flush or system clean, or other gas appliances such as a gas fire or cooker. A landlord gas safety certificate is a separate check too.
If we find a worn part or a fault, we'll explain what's needed and your options before any further work is done.

Boilers we service
We work on Ideal, Viessmann, Intergas, Vokera, ATAG and Alpha boilers. We're Ideal Max Accredited, which means longer manufacturer warranties are available on qualifying Ideal boilers we fit, and a yearly service is what keeps that cover in place. If your boiler is another make, tell us the make and model when you book. We're also HETAS registered for solid fuel appliances.
Servicing boilers in Chesterfield homes
Chesterfield's mix of Victorian terraces, post-war semis and newer homes means we see every kind of boiler. Terraces often have a combi squeezed into a kitchen cupboard, and a few still have an old back boiler behind a gas fire, which needs its yearly check as much as any modern boiler.
